Bridge validator threshold (k-of-M)
Babylon Protocol's assessment for RD-F-149 — scored yellow on the v1.7.0 rubric. The evidence below is the curator's reasoning for this score.
Evidence summary #
6-of-9 required for covenant committee co-signing. Babylon Labs holds 3 keys (33.3%); any 3 other committee members + Babylon Labs = 6-of-9 quorum. Threshold at 2/3 is within BFT bounds, but Babylon Labs' near-deterministic quorum influence is a concentration risk. Covenant committee cannot unilaterally steal BTC (script path enforcement prevents arbitrary spends) but can block unbonding or enable invalid unbonding.
