Prior rug/exit-scam affiliation
Uniswap (v2 + v3)'s assessment for RD-F-115 — scored green on the v1.7.0 rubric. The evidence below is the curator's reasoning for this score.
Evidence summary #
No team member linked to a prior rug or exit-scam protocol. The 2022 class action was about third-party token issuers using Uniswap's platform as infrastructure, not Uniswap team members creating rug tokens. Case dismissed with prejudice 2026-03-03. No Chainalysis or REKT.news report attributing any Uniswap Labs principal to a rug event.
Detail #
Combined v2+v3 assessment. REKT.news database search for 'Uniswap Labs' or named team members returns zero results attributing any exploit to the team. The V2 and V3 protocol contracts themselves have zero direct exploits in 6+ and 5+ years of operation respectively (per 00-profile.md §10). The oracle consumer failures (Visor Finance, Inverse Finance) using V2 TWAP were failures of downstream consumer protocols, not Uniswap Labs actions.
