Single-pool oracle (no medianization)
Venus Protocol's assessment for RD-F-056 — scored green on the v1.7.0 rubric. The evidence below is the curator's reasoning for this score.
Evidence summary #
ResilientOracle with BoundValidator provides medianization at the protocol adapter layer across 3 diverse providers. Chainlink uses multi-node aggregation (not single pool). BNB has RedStone (main), Chainlink (pivot), Binance (fallback) — three independent sources. Major assets do not rely on a single pool or single exchange. For thin-liquidity assets, multi-source can still converge if all venues are manipulated simultaneously (demonstrated in THE attack).
